TIPPECANOE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Our school opened in 1993 under the name of First Assembly Christian Academy (FACA). Mr. Wayne Peercy, the founding principal, started the school with 3 rooms using an individualized curriculum called Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.). Following a “Call” to the South African mission field, the early days of FACA saw significant changes in the past decade. Mr. Chris Johns, our second Principal, served from 1997 to 2011. During this time, FACA was transformed into a traditional school setting with certified teachers and earned their first 5-year accreditation award in 2004.  Our third and current Principal, Mr. Tim Parsons, joined the School in 2011 and has led us to our current accreditation with Christian Schools International.

Expanding to Pre-K and 3 year old levels, FACA changed its name and received a new-look makeover in the spring of 2009. Now named Tippecanoe Christian School to promote the spirit of community enjoyed by the students, the school enrolls students that attend more than 20 churches throughout Tippecanoe, Benton, Clinton and Montgomery counties.

Housed in First Assembly of God in Lafayette, Indiana,  the school enjoys a collaborative relationship with the church extending its motto of: Loving God, Loving People.

Tippecanoe Christian School admits students of all races, colors and natural origins. Tippecanoe Christian School does not discriminate based upon race, color or natural origin in all matters concerning admissions, academic standing and participation in school related events. Tippecanoe Christian School is accredited by Christian Schools International.
